Biography
Aarya Raj is a Legal Assistant at Desai, Raveica, Raveica & Arshad, P.C. She supports the firm’s attorneys with case preparation, research, document review, and client-service functions, bringing strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills to her work on active matters.
Aarya graduated from Michigan State University’s James Madison College, where she concentrated her studies on law. Her academic background gave her a strong foundation in legal systems, constitutional governance, public policy, and the broader institutional frameworks that shape litigation and legal advocacy.
During her academic career, Aarya built significant research experience through positions that sharpened her legal analysis and writing skills. As a Research Assistant at James Madison College, she supported faculty-led projects, reviewed complex legal and policy materials, and contributed to scholarly research. She also served as a Research Assistant at Wayne State University College of Law, where she conducted in-depth legal research and assisted in the development of academic work and publications.
In addition to her academic research experience, Aarya gained practical exposure to legal practice through her role as a Legal and Marketing Intern at Mike Morse Law, one of Michigan’s largest personal injury firms. There, she assisted with case preparation, reviewed client files, and contributed to marketing initiatives, giving her experience at the intersection of legal work, client communication, and strategic messaging.
