Biography
Randen Hanna is a Law Clerk at Desai, Raveica, Raveica & Arshad, P.C., where he supports the firm’s attorneys in complex litigation, research, drafting, and case development. He works across a range of matters and contributes to the firm’s aggressive, litigation-focused practice with strong research skills, practical judgment, and a disciplined approach to case preparation.
Randen is currently pursuing his Juris Doctor at Cooley Law School and is expected to graduate in August 2026. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Oakland University in December 2023. His academic background reflects a strong interest in legal systems, advocacy, and the strategic use of law in high-stakes disputes.
Since joining the firm in January 2026, Randen has worked on a wide variety of substantive legal assignments. His experience includes drafting litigation documents such as complaints, motions, subpoenas duces tecum, demand letters, and sentencing memoranda. He has also conducted legal research and analysis in civil, criminal, and immigration matters, and has assisted attorneys with sentencing advocacy, asylum filings, and broader case strategy. That range of work has given him meaningful exposure to fast-moving, demanding matters where precision, responsiveness, and careful preparation matter.
Before entering the legal field, Randen held management positions in the hospitality industry, including serving as General Manager at Wingate by Wyndham in Troy, Michigan, and Operations Manager at Howard Johnson in Romulus, Michigan. In those roles, he oversaw day-to-day operations, handled customer-facing responsibilities, managed large-scale renovation work, and studied market and pricing trends. That background gives him a practical business perspective that is especially valuable in a firm focused on disputes involving companies, operations, and high-stakes decision-making.
Randen’s combination of legal training, drafting experience, operational management background, and client-service experience makes him a strong addition to the firm. He approaches his work with professionalism, focus, and a clear commitment to developing into a powerful advocate. He is also affiliated with the Christian Legal Society and the Chaldean-American Student Association at Cooley Law School.
